Without a doubt, one of the most complex projects from a geotechnical perspective was the construction of the Hotel Casino Dreams building. The geotechnical study was carried out jointly by Eng. Issa Kort K. (R.I.P.) and Eng. Ramón Carrasco P. The major challenge was its location just a few meters from the coastline, combined with the need to build two underground levels. This required the design of a special groundwater lowering system and a Berlin wall shoring system anchored to the seabed.
